The SIXTH day

 Genesis 1:31

King James Version

31 And God saw every thing that he had made,

and, behold,

it was very good.

 And the evening and the morning

were the sixth day.

GOD created man on the sixth day.

It's time we understood the sequence of events.

How GOD created man, why He did, what was expected of man, and what happened after the fall.

Let's turn to the Bible for clarity.

BEFORE the fall:

Genesis 1:26-27

King James Version

26 And God said,

Let us make man in our image,

after our likeness:

and let them have dominion

over the fish of the sea,

and over the fowl of the air,

and over the cattle,

and over all the earth,

and over every creeping thing

that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image,

in the image of God created he him;

male and female created he them.

Genesis 1:28

King James Version

28 And God blessed them,

and God said unto them,

Be fruitful, and multiply,

and replenish the earth, and subdue it:

and have dominion over the fish of the sea,

and over the fowl of the air,

and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Genesis 2:7

King James Version

7 And the Lord God formed man

of the dust of the ground,

and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;

and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:8

King James Version

8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden;

and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Genesis 2:15

King James Version

15 And the Lord God took the man,

and put him into the garden of Eden

to dress it and to keep it.

Genesis 2:18

King James Version

18 And the Lord God said,

It is not good that the man should be alone;

I will make him an help meet for him.

Genesis 2:19-20

King James Version

19 And out of the ground

the Lord God formed every beast of the field,

and every fowl of the air;

and brought them unto Adam

to see what he would call them:

and whatsoever Adam called every living creature,

that was the name thereof.

20 And Adam gave names to all cattle,

and to the fowl of the air,

and to every beast of the field;

but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

Genesis 2:21-22

King James Version

21 And the Lord God

caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam,

and he slept:

and he took one of his ribs,

and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 And the rib,

which the Lord God had taken from man,

made he a woman,

and brought her unto the man.

Genesis 2:23

King James Version

23 And Adam said,

This is now bone of my bones,

and flesh of my flesh:

she shall be called Woman,

because she was taken out of Man.

Genesis 2:24

King James Version

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother,

and shall cleave unto his wife:

and they shall be one flesh.

AFTER the fall:

Genesis 3:13

King James Version

13 And the Lord God said unto the woman,

What is this that thou hast done?

And the woman said,

The serpent beguiled me,

and I did eat.

Genesis 3:16

King James Version

16 Unto the woman he said,

 I will greatly multiply thy sorrow

and thy conception;

in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children;

and thy desire shall be to thy husband,

and he shall rule over thee.

Genesis 3:17-19

King James Version

17 And unto Adam he said,

Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife,

and hast eaten of the tree,

of which I commanded thee, saying,

Thou shalt not eat of it:

cursed is the ground for thy sake;

in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee;

and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread,

till thou return unto the ground;

for out of it wast thou taken:

for dust thou art,

and unto dust shalt thou return.

Genesis 3:20

King James Version

20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve;

because she was the mother of all living.

An important thing to remember:

Genesis 5:1-2

King James Version

5 This is the book of the generations of Adam.

In the day that God created man,

in the likeness of God made he him;

2 Male and female created he them;

and blessed them,

and called their name Adam,

in the day when they were created.

GENESIS is the foundation for everything about man, and woman.

Have we honored this?

Do we believe this?

As born again, I believe it why my whole heart.

That's why I'm posting it here.

Next post focuses on how men and women are to treat each other, according to Scripture.

Loving GOD's precepts

 Psalm 119:128

King James Version

128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts

concerning all things to be right;

and I hate every false way.

I know it's pretty self-explanatory.

Still, I search the Bible, for what "precepts" mean.

As born again workman, and writer, I love word study.

It's a way to get things right about GOD's WORD.

Here's what Bible versions say about "precepts":

but I hate anyone

    who leads me astray.
